Public Research Works (PRW) is recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the U.S. Internal
Revenue Service. PRW's goals include educating the public on environmental issues and promoting environmental
sustainability. PRW also promotes increasing Texans' abilities to have input into decision-making by our
government. All contributions to PRW are 100% tax-deductible.

PRW's sister organization, Texas Campaign for the Environment (TCE), is incorporated as a 501(c)(4)
non-profit organization. The 501(c)(4) designation allows TCE to actively lobby legislators and other
elected and appointed officials. For this reason, contributions to TCE are not tax-deductible. To learn
